Valentines Craft Ideas for Young Children

Valentines craft ideas for young children help to teach children about this fun holiday as well as about love and friendship. Valentine's Day is celebrated every February 14th and is usually symbolized by the giving of cards, candy, and gifts as a way to express love or friendship.
February has long been recognized as a month for romance and it is uncertain who exactly St. Valentine is as there were several canonized Saints named Saint Valentine. However, it is known that, in the 15th century, the Pope set aside February 14th as St. Valentine's Day. For more information about the History of Valentine's Day, please visit History.com.
